Battery operated flow meter

There are several flow meter manufacturers that offer a plastic battery operated flow meter, the issue with the current products on the market are that they are inaccurate. The Truflo TKB series battery operated flow meter is the most accurate battery operated flow meter on the market offering customers 0.5% accuracy which is unheard of when it comes to paddle wheel flow meters, let alone a battery operated flow meter. Recently one of the largest commodity chemical distributors had approached Truflo with a critical application request for a battery powered flow meter that would work on their HCL line to monitor the flow that they were offloading from a chemical truck. The application went as so, the driver would drive up to the holding tank, hook up his discharge line and then start pumping HCL into the holding tank. Currently they were having an employee sit on top of the holding tank and dip it with a stick to ensure that they would not overfill the tank and have an acid spill.

The employee was in danger, even the HCL fumes would cause discomfort. Truflo had offered a great solution to this ongoing issue, they recommended the Truflo TKB series battery operated flow meter. The customer would now have the ability to install the Truflo TKB series battery operated flow meter on the discharge line and monitor the flow of the HCL coming out of the tank. They would be able to do simple math to determine when they were getting into an upset high level condition and stop the flow to prevent the overfill condition. The Truflo TKB series battery operated flow meter was provided in PVC, with VITON seals, a ETFE paddle and ceramic rotor pin and bearings. All of which are standard options for the Truflo TKB series battery operated flow meter.
